How We Started Out
SEECA Technology, based out of Houma, Louisiana, was founded by a team with core competencies in ophthalmology, practice management and software development. Using a functioning ophthalmology practice as a "test office" to develop and modify ideas, the team has created the most advanced electronic medical records system available with a proven record of improving all aspects of an ophthalmology practice. SEECA Technology specializes in creating total business solutions that meet the individual needs of each client. We realize that making the jump to electronic medicine is complex, therefore, we have designed a methodical process that minimizes the turbulence involved in transitioning to electronic medical records.

SEECA and Medinformatix
SEECA Technology / Medinformatix is an electronic medical records system with copyrighted architecture refined by a board certified ophthalmologist for the specific requirements of ophthalmology. The system was polished in a clinical and surgical "test office" for 3 years, utilizing real-time modification by clinically experienced programmers. It is based on the established E/M format and includes 186 ICD-9 specific trees. Medinformatix, Inc., located in Los Angeles California, has been providing electronic medical records solutions since 1982 and has won numerous Microsoft awards for their products. Presently there are offices in 14 states and clients ranging in size from solo to multi-location mega practices. The company routinely generates over one billion in annual billings. SEECA Technology and Medinformatix have joined forces to sell the enhanced product. SEECA Technology employed its core competency in the field of ophthalmology to dramatically increase performance. Our programmers are physically located within the ophthalmology "test office" which gives us rapid concept to completion time on new hypotheses. The result is a fast, flexible and financially beneficial product that has been proven to increase efficiency and profits any time.
